Like the Ring terminals, the Fork terminals are
designed to be fixed onto a stud or screw.
They greatly increase the speed of assembly as the
screw does not need to be completly removed to fit
the Fork into place. Having said that they are not
regarded quite as secure as a ring, as should the
screw become loose they will not be retained in
position.

Fork terminals have a range of sizes, from 3mm up to
8mm. The fork terminal size is specified in metric,
using the letter M followed by the size in millimeters.
For instance, a fork terminal described as M6 will
have a clearance to fit around a 6mm stud or screw.

Red and Blue Fork terminals are sold in packets
of 100.

Yellow Fork terminals are sold in packets of 50.
